A weekly digital journal of trusting God in real life.

These reflections began in 2023 as weekly emails sent to my community—a space where I share the highs, the lows, the lessons, and the love of God through motherhood, entrepreneurship, homeschooling, and life. Here, you'll find a collection of those emails—honest, imperfect, and filled with Christian testimony and encouragement. Whether you're reading for faith-based inspiration, connection, or simply a reminder that you're not alone, I pray these entries meet you right where you are. Every testimony matters. And this is mine—week by week.

These Morning Inspos are just one way I share encouragement. Here are some ways to connect outside of skincare:

5 years down!

5 years down!

Good morning ,

First and foremost I want to say thank you for being a part of this community. Yesterday I celebrated 5 years in business!! It’s been exciting, but if I can be honest, it’s been pretty overwhelming too.

Over the past week I’ve felt excited, overwhelmed, at peace and ready to break down - sometimes all within the same day.

Running a business is extremely rewarding, but it also requires a lot from you. As I was packing orders on Tuesday, a sense of relief came over me. I thought to myself, I’m glad I don’t have this many orders to pack every day.

While I was excited to see all the orders, I was overwhelmed with everything else that came with it. That may sound like the opposite of what you would expect me to say. There used to be many days where I wanted my business to make more money, which comes with more orders. Sounds great to get 20-30 orders a day, but the reality is I can’t take much more than what I’m doing. I'm only 1 person, and gone are the days of being so busy that I have no time to rest.

I’ve seen a number of small businesses close over the past few years due to their mental health. They had all the orders, but the stress took a toll on them. It’s really a shame. I pray and believe that God will shield me from growing so fast that it kills my business.

I pray that God will send me more wonderful customers and supporters. I pray that this business points people to Jesus. I pray that over the next year I can focus on the good. I pray that I can grow in peace and wisdom.

Thank you again for being with me on this journey. I hope these emails over the last few years encourage you to turn your focus back to God, and his purpose for you.

I appreciate you being a part of my community. It's always more than skin care :)

If this email has helped you please share it with someone you know.

Love,
Danielle
