Good morning ,

I celebrated my 38th birthday on Monday. As I reflected on this last year, I was reminded of how much my life has changed. This year, I took a huge step back from pouring into my skin care business. I haven’t been able to formulate any new products. I haven’t been able to do much marketing or participate in any vendor events. Despite what I didn’t get to do in business, I’ve felt so much peace and clarity. Thank you, Lord! The Lord has replaced the time I spent with teaching and sharing—two things that bring me so much joy. 

I spent the first half of this year surrendering control to the Lord. It was a painful and messy lesson God graciously walked me through. 

I don’t know what God is going to do this next year, and I’m good with that. The one thing I do know is that he is faithful.

Something new I've started this year is a YouTube channel to share personal stories about faith, motherhood, marriage, and entrepreneurship. I recorded this video on my birthday to share what I learned over the last year. I hope you will watch it and it will encourage you to seek the Lord above all.
