Good morning ,
Praise Jesus! After months of chaos, confusion, frustration, and anger, I've seen little bursts of sunshine in this storm of life. It's Tuesday morning (this won't be sent until Wednesday), but it's been a good couple of days, which is better than what I could have said a few weeks ago.
As I have been sharing these moments with you, I've been reflecting on how God has been in all the details, even when I didn't recognize it at the time. In this season, He has allowed me to recognize the moments when He shows up.
Jesus is referred to as the Prince of Peace. He gives his children peace. The world associates peace with a trouble-free life, and for the most part, everything working out. That's not true peace.
True peace is having Jesus when everything is falling apart. True peace allows you to feel the presence of God and see His goodness in the details. True peace is knowing you are protected by peace (Christ) because he has overcome the world.
I hope these glimpses into my real-life struggles have encouraged you if you are facing hard times. Whether it's in parenting, finances, marriage, employment, or health, I pray you remember who your peace comes from.
