alone time with God Naturally Created 4 You

alone time with God

Good morning ,

At the end of June 2025, I started going live nearly every weekday to read the Bible with my TikTok community. It was called “Mornings with Jesus.” We read through the entire Old Testament together for those 6 months. In January, we read through the Gospels. In February, we read Proverbs. In March, I didn’t have a plan. I was really interested in the life of David, so we eventually started reading 1 Samuel together.

In March, I started feeling overwhelmed. I enjoyed going live, but it was taking away from my alone time with God. Mornings with Jesus began as a way to share the word of God with others and encourage them to pursue truth in it. It was never intended to replace alone time with God.

Last week I didn’t go live. I woke up and spent time with God every morning. Just him and me. That alone time reminded me of what I’ve been missing. I feel refreshed. I feel lighter.

When I first started Mornings with Jesus, I didn’t know what to expect. I truly just wanted to share my love of the Bible with others. We can be so busy serving the Lord that we forget to spend quality time with him.

This is the last week I’ll be going live. It’s bittersweet.

But the trust is, I've truly missed my quiet time in the morning. Just me and my Bible. Searching scriptures. Asking questions. Finding answers.

If you have been struggling to find time for just you and God, I encourage you to prioritize it today. There is nothing like quiet time with the Lord.
