Good morning ,
I can't tell you how much time I've spent redoing things because I didn't get it right the first time. This past weekend, I sat down at my computer and re-evaluated how some things were set up. I got upset because once again I was having to redo something else. I spent so much time on a particular project only to have to go back months later and redo it again. I felt like I was wasting time. Time I didn't expect to spend on this, but it needed to be done.
So I spent hours this weekend redoing something. By the end of the project I was so happy. It's 10x better than it was before and it makes more sense.
The more I do this, the more I realize how much I still have to learn. Every day I mess up - I learn. I grow. I gain more clarity. It shows me the beauty of God's grace and to have a little bit more of it for myself. The lessons I learn through messing up allow me to be able to help others. It's no fun when you're sitting there in the middle of doing something for the 2nd, 3rd, sometimes 4th time, but each time I get better. I get closer to getting it right, and I learn to appreciate this journey of life more.
I hope this message encourages you to look for the lesson. And if it's not plain, ask God to make it plain for you. Ask him to help you understand it from his lens.
