A weekly digital journal of trusting God in real life.

These reflections began in 2023 as weekly emails sent to my community—a space where I share the highs, the lows, the lessons, and the love of God through motherhood, entrepreneurship, homeschooling, and life. Here, you'll find a collection of those emails—honest, imperfect, and filled with Christian testimony and encouragement. Whether you're reading for faith-based inspiration, connection, or simply a reminder that you're not alone, I pray these entries meet you right where you are. Every testimony matters. And this is mine—week by week.

These Morning Inspos are just one way I share encouragement. Here are some ways to connect outside of skincare:

merry christmas

Good morning ,

Merry Christmas! This time of the year can be stressful, especially if you have a decent number of people to shop for. I always stress about whether we're buying enough gifts, and question whether the people will even like their gift. My overthinking goes into overdrive in this season. Some of the stress is self-induced because I literally wait until the last minute to buy anything. It's Christmas Eve, and I still have gifts to buy lol. I don't know why I do this to myself, but it happens every single year.

For the record, gifts are not my love language. I'd much rather go do something together and talk about life. I keep having to remind my kids it's not about the gifts - it's about Jesus! Regardless, gifts are still involved. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with buying and receiving gifts; I just don't like how the focus of Christmas can become centered around the gifts.

One day, I'd like to do gifts differently. I don't know what that looks like, but every year I think about starting a new tradition that is focused on an experience or theme.

One thing I am really excited about this year is hosting Christmas. I've never hosted Christmas, so please pray that everything goes smoothly. I'm trying my hand at making homemade dinner rolls and cinnamon butter for the first time. I've never made homemade rolls, and I've been wanting to try them for the past several months, so tomorrow is the day. lol.

More than the gifts and the food, I'm excited to spend time with family and focus on the real meaning of Christmas - Jesus coming into the world. He is truly the reason for the season.

This year, more than ever, I have experienced God's love, peace, and grace for me. I've grown so much in my faith and knowledge. The Lord has helped me overcome many hard moments. He has been there every step of the way and in every detail of my life. I hope this Christmas is special to you, and you will be filled with all joy, love and peace.

I appreciate you being part of this community—it's always more than skin care. 💛

If today’s email encouraged you, feel free to forward it to a friend who might need it too.

Love,
Danielle
