Good morning ,
When I thought I was starting a skincare company, it turned out I was starting a ministry. When I thought I was starting a new TikTok account to share all things outside of business, it turned out I was starting a ministry. When I had my daughter in 2015, I thought my job was to raise her to be a productive and good citizen. Turns out, my purpose as a mom is far greater than that. This too is a ministry.
My purpose as a mom is not only to teach my kids about Christ, but to point them to Christ. My purpose is to reflect Christ in my home. My purpose is to share the gospel with my kids and remind them of God's love.
2 Corinthians 5:20 says, “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
It starts in our home first.
I think about the hundreds of videos I uploaded, and the last 3 years of these weekly emails, sharing my journey with God. I was ministering to others and missing that motherhood is a ministry in itself. I thank God for his grace. There is no shame, but a conviction to do motherhood a different way than I’ve done it before.
I pray this message blesses you and reminds you that you, too, are an ambassador of Christ, and it starts in your home.
