Good morning ,
This morning I was listening to a teaching by Joyce Meyer and she encouraged the listeners to include this in their morning prayer "I pray that something good will happen in my life today."
Wow.
What a simple thing to pray, yet how powerful would that be to see all the good things God is doing in our life?
Last week one of the scriptures I learned what Psalms 9:1 - I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all of my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
What a shift that would be to wake up in the morning with the expectation that God is going to do something good in my life today.
What an impact that could make for those around you if you just started sharing the good things God was doing.
This is a reminder to myself, and hopefully to you, that we can wake up in the morning with the expectation of something good, or something bad happening.
We can wake up being focused on the good, or we can wake up bombarded with worry and anxiety.
We get to choose our attitude, and that should not be taken lightly.
Our attitude is something that sets us apart as Christians. Let's check our attitude and make sure it aligns with Christ, not just for ourselves, but to be an example to others.
